Sam Asghari's mom is on the mend after a scary incident.
Over the weekend, Britney Spears' husband thanked staff at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai hospital after Fatima Asghari was taken to the emergency room.
"Today my mother was involved in a major accident," he wrote on Instagram Story July 29. "With the amazing help of the medical staff and some friends she's doing okay."
While the 29-year-old did not share any further details on his mom's accident, the private star noted that she's "resting it off."
Sam's family update comes just days after Britney marked a new chapter in her life—releasing new music with will.i.am.
On July 21, the "Lucky" singer and the Black Eyed Peas artist dropped "Mind Your Business," a song that calls out invasive paparazzi. "There's a thin line," will.i.am told CBS News a day before releasing the track, "and everyone deserves their version of privacy."
The seven-time Grammy winner also spoke about collaborating with Britney, who—in addition to facing public scrutiny over the years—endured a years-long conservatorship battle.
"I see the same light, the same joy, the same love and passion," he said. "And when you have that connection with music and rhythm and song and melody and harmony and you express yourself through that, it helps you with anything that you're going through."
In addition to releasing new music, Britney is also celebrating a personal milestone: her first wedding anniversary with Sam.
"Happy 1 Year to me & my better half," Sam wrote on Instagram Story June 9. "One year married to the woman of my dreams. Happy anniversary my Love."
Sam and Britney, 41, tied the knot in 2022 after five years of dating. "Wow !!! Holy holy crap !!! WE DID IT !!! WE GOT MARRIED !!! Gggggeeeeezzzzz !!!" she wrote on Instagram at the time. "It was the most spectacular day !!!"
"The ceremony was a dream and the party was even better," she added. "I think we all fell on the dance floor at least 2 times !!! I mean come on … we were all VOGUING !!! @SamAsghari I LOVE YOU !!!"
